Melt Therapy

About Me

Erica with 8-month pregnant Carina.
Erica Lee started her yogic journey in 1998, in Los Angeles, with ashtanga yoga. She changed careers --from dotcoms to traditional Thai yoga massage -- after making a pinkie promise with a friend to backpack to Thailand. There, she met and studied with the late, great Asokananda, who rocked her world with the grand-daddy of therapeutic bodywork: Nuad Boran (Traditional Thai Yoga Massage),  nicknamed "Lazyman's Yoga."

After experiencing Thai Yoga massage, she committed herself to working specifically with the pregnant body, helping women experience ease and comfort as they became mothers.  She is the proud auntie to many a newborn.

She started Melt Therapy in 2005 in London, England. Based upon her success with mommas, Erica's female clientele started referring her to their husbands and male friends.  Erica's practice grew to treating men, who sought Thai Yoga massage for greater flexibility, reduced pain, and sports recovery.

In 2008, Erica returned to beautiful Los Angeles, and received her kundalini yoga teacher certification, and has taught pre-natal yoga at the Awareness Center

Relaxing on Ko Wai, Thailand.
Aware that our actions affect not just the next generation, but generations to come, Erica's passion is helping people feel healthy, robust, and good all over.
